He has conceded just three goals from 14 shots on target faced, with a save percentage of 78.6%, helping the team earn their first clean sheet of the season in his debut against Sunderland.
The fans have been impressed with Lammens' performances, singing chants of "Are you Schmeichel in disguise?"
In an interview with BBC Sport, Lammens said that he welcomes the pressure of playing for Manchester United.
"Of course, you hear that there is a lot of pressure coming with playing for this team," he said.
"But I welcome that. It's nice to play for a big team, and there should be pressure. I'm not scared of it."
Lammens doesn't let the chants affect him during the game, but he appreciates the compliment.
"It's an amazing compliment to get, but you have to be realistic," he said.
"Peter Schmeichel is one of the best goalkeepers ever. I have to prove a lot more to be in the same conversation as him."
