David Horseman is currently in advanced talks with Manchester United about taking on the role of assistant coach for the under-21 team. He will work closely with Travis Binnion, who will be his direct supervisor.
The decision to appoint Horseman comes after David Hughes left the position to become the new manager of Newport County in League Two. It is expected that Horseman will bring valuable experience to the role, having previously worked with Jason Wilcox, the technical chief at Manchester United, when they were both at Southampton.
At Southampton, Horseman spent four years as the coach of the club's B team and developed a strong understanding of the team's dynamics and strategies.
