According to reports, Mitchell is being considered for a new role at Al-Hilal, a Saudi Arabian football club. Al-Hilal is looking to hire a new sporting director, and Mitchell is one of the candidates being considered, along with Michael Edwards from Liverpool.
Al-Hilal has also made a contract offer to Inter Milan coach Simone Inzaghi, who is expected to respond this week. Inzaghi's team lost in the Champions League final last night.
Decisions on both the sporting director and coach positions are expected to be made this week.
