Former Wolves football executive Matt Hobbs is expected to join Palace, and he is reportedly advocating for a deal to bring Hwang to the team.
Hwang has been with Wolves for three seasons, but the club may be willing to sell him in the coming weeks as manager Vitor Pereira focuses on other attacking options, such as Jorge Strand Larsen.
If Hwang joins Palace, he could provide an alternative to the team's current top striker, Jean-Philippe Mateta.
During his time at Wolves, Hwang has made 120 appearances and scored 22 goals.
